The SureFire KM3 LED Weapon Light Conversion Kit is just what you need if you want to install an infrared light on your weapon system. This LED weapon light conversion kit lets you start operation with both white and infrared capabilities. The KM3 kit is made from aerospace aluminum with a Mil-Spec hard-anodized finish for strength and shock proofing abilities. It comes in either Black or Desert Tan. The Total Internal Reflection lens produces a tight beam for close up and medium-range distances and along with the coated tempered window helps to make the KM3 nearly indestructible. The Bezel (head) measures 1.37 inches and simply screws on to replace the existing Bezel of your weapon light. It also features a selector ring that switches and locks from white to infrared with a twist of the wrist.

The conversion fits the M95 and M96 series of Universal Weapon Lights, but it is necessary to convert the longer battery housing of the M96 into a two battery system. The kit requires two 123A batteries (not included) to operate the white light at maximum output for 1.8 hours and the infrared maximum output for 8 hours -- much longer that any comparable incandescent system. With batteries it weighs only 2.6 ounces and the entire length of the conversion kit is just 2.2 inches so it's lightweight and keeps a low profile on your weapon. Each kit comes with a conversion head, new tail cap o-rings, o-ring lubrication, and applicator brush, which is everything you need to make the conversion.
