AR-15/M16 MOSSIE MIDNIGHT MOUNT

Features:

• Attaches to most standard and "F" front sight bases
• Functions with Picatinny and Universal lights
• Positions the light at 12 o’clock
• Constructed from 6061 T6 aluminum
• Military Type III Hard Anodized
• Simple installation; hooks onto the front of the front sight base from the side and is slid down
• Mount is secured by two self-locking set screws

Benefits:

• By mounting the light at 12 o’clock, shadowing from the barrel is reduced, if not eliminated
• Any shadows present will be directed downwards, instead of to the operators sides
• Unobstructed sight picture when used with Surefire X300, Streamlight TLR1 and TLR3, Streamlight/Insight M3, and Insight WX150. Streamlight TLR2 and Surefire X400 will work on mount, but will obstruct sight picture.
• The tailswitch on the weaponlight is positioned next to the front sight base, for easy operation, but placed so that negligent light discharges are reduced
